Moin from Hamburg!

HY-5 at the Hydrogen  Technology World Expo

Northern Germany presents itself as a hydrogen hotspot

Northern Germany wants to emphasise its role as a leading location for hydrogen technologies. From 21 to 23 October, the HY-5 initiative will represent the five northern German states at the Hydrogen Technology World Expo in Hamburg. The international trade fair for hydrogen and fuel cells is being held in the Hanseatic city for the second time and brings together industry players from all over the world.

On Monday (20 October), there will be a pre-event reception in Bremen and a Senate reception at Hamburg City Hall.

Tuesday (21 October) will feature a Hamburg stand event, the Bremen stand party and a joint dinner with the Japanese Trusted Delegation.

On Wednesday (22 October), the Bremen meets Kobe event will take place. The Trusted Delegation is also expected at both the Hamburg and Bremen stands. The day will be rounded off with a Bremen stand event and the official HTWE stand reception with Scotland.

Thursday (23 October) will open with a B2B event organised by the Japanese organisation JETRO. The JETRO delegation is also expected at the Hamburg and Bremen stands before a reception at the residence of the Japanese Consul General brings the day to a close.

With these programme items, HY-5 aims to highlight the importance of international cooperation for the hydrogen economy and underline the role of Northern Germany as a strong location in Europe.
